Transfiguration

The transfiguration is the greatest epiphany of all, for Jesus did not do a miracle here, but showed his majesty in his own flesh. See, it is the very flesh of God, the Incarnate One, infused with the majesty of God. And the reciprocal of this is stunning too, for it means that this, our flesh, shall appear in the same glory, as the Apostle John also says, we are called sons of God, and we shall see him as he is, for we shall be like him.
