The Spirit preaches

In Jesus' discourse at St. John 16, he calls the Spirit the Comforter, and describes what he will do: convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. This is the content of authentic Christian preaching. When the Gospel is preached, this prediction of Jesus is being fulfilled. It began at Pentecost; it continues today. Sermon for Cantate Sunday.
