The Laborers in  the Vineyard

Forgetfulness that God is good is the evil eye of the laborers hired first; it is also  the sin of Eve in the beginning. It is in the fallen heart of man, to believe that God is not good, and to grumble and complain. But God's abundant goodness abides, though we have not earned his mercy. Still he sends his Son to be our  ransom for sin; still he is good and saves us and promises salvation. So let us go into the vineyard like those workers who simply trusted that they would receive whatever is right, and good. Audio of sermon is unavailable. Video is here.
