The Conversion of St. Paul

This is a First-Class Feast at St. Paul's in Kewanee because of the fact that our church is named after St. Paul. And so we consider his wonderful  conversion, a shining testimony to the fact that with God all things are possible. As Judas was snatched away by the devil from the holy twelve, so now Paul, who had been a leader of the opposition, is snatched away from the devil by Christ. And thus is fulfilled the prophecy of Jacob when he blessed his twelfth son: Benjamin shall ravin as a wolf. In the morning he shall devour the prey; at night he divide the spoil. For Paul was of the tribe of Benjamin, and in the morning (the first part of his life) he devoured the Christians, but at night (the second part) he distributed the riches of the Kingdom of Heaven by preaching among the Gentiles.
