The blind beggar would not be silenced. See the stubbornness of faith; let us seek to be relentless in  this way: knowing who Jesus is, why he has come, and what he is able to do. He is our Savior from sin, death, and hell, and it is right for us to cry repeatedly, saying, Lord, have mercy. Sermon for Quinquagesima.
