Sleep on and take your rest.

Jesus told his disciples in Gethsemane to watch and pray while he went and prayed. But the flesh, being weary and tired, was too weak. And then, when he came back the  third time and saw his betrayer coming, he said to them, "Sleep on now, and take your rest." What does this mean? See, the hour of his passion has begun; and in him and in his suffering we find our true Sabbath rest. So let us rest in him evermore. Sermon for Midweek of Lent V. The video is here.
