Quasimodogeniti

The first time the risen Christ says "Peace be unto you," it is for  the benefit of his chosen apostles  themselves; the second time, it is for them to carry into all the world, that finally we might be comforted. For as the Father sent him, so now he sends them, and establishes the Office of the Ministry. This is their certification and commissioning. Thus the Gospel of the risen Christ spreads to all the world. Guest sermon by Fr. Peter Eckardt.
