Holy Tuesday

When Jesus told them that one of them would betray him, the disciples began to ask, Is it I, Lord? Not, Who, Lord? For, being honest with themselves, they all knew that they had it within them to be the one. But when Jesus was asked, Art thou the Christ, he confidently answered, I am. And since he is the Christ, he stands in for us, and pays the price for our redemption. Sermon For Holy Tuesday.
