A little while

Jesus taught his disciples that when their sorrow would come in a little while they could learn that it would only be for a little while, for it was followed by the joy of his resurrection. So we learn to trust him in our little whiles of sorrow, and especially learn to gain confidence when he comes to us in little whiles throughout life, most especially in the Holy Mass, for there he touches us and assures us that he will bring us abiding joy.
